A big thanks to everyone who participated in The Arc of Delaware 2022 Virtual Run/Walk/Roll! Thanks to your enthusiasm and the generosity of donors, we raised over $6000 to help support our advocacy and programs throughout the state.

The winning team with the most donations, for the second year in a row, was Kimmy’s Fundraiser. Led by Board volunteer Lori Jones, Kimmy’s Fundraiser brought in more than $1600!

Team Robleto wasn’t too far behind, raising over $1000 in donations toward their 5K walk.

Each year, we can count on the residents of RicLand Heights neighborhood home to participate in the Run/Walk/Roll as part of Pam’s Peeps team, seen here modeling this year’s shirts.

The staff of The Arc of Delaware organized and grew its own Team Arc in 2022, raising almost $600 as they walked together.

We also appreciate A Little Help for my Friends and Support The Arc of Delaware for adding their teams’ support to the cause.

We couldn’t hold this event without our generous shirt sponsors, including Acer Associates, Allstate, Radius Direct, Bayhealth, Edgewell Personal Care, WSFS bank, and Longhorn Steakhouse.

The back of the shirts this year included a memorial line for Merry Jones, a tireless Mid-Del volunteer and unforgettable advocate, along with special appreciation for office manager Janice Watkins, who retired after 15 years of coordinating Mid-Del activities.

Although everyone enjoys these virtual events, we are certainly looking forward to future dates when public health guidelines will allow us to once again gather, compete and celebrate in-person. Watch this space for those announcements!
