Bid Bowl Fun at the Trolley Tap House

If you were at the Trolley Tap House in Wilmington on June 8, you were invited to participate in a new event we called “Bid Bowl” to benefit The Arc of Delaware.

A friendly crowd of about 100 people showed up on a Thursday night to enjoy some good food and good beer. There were nine baskets with an assortment of themed items available for bidding, including one donated by the First State Brewing company.

Patrons bought Bid Bowl tickets from The Arc staff present in the room between 6:00 and 8:00 pm. They then dropped them into the bid bowl in front of their favorite baskets in the hope that theirs would be the winning draw. Alternatively, patrons could buy separate tickets for the 50/50 raffle held at the end of the evening.

In addition, Trolley Tap House donated a portion of the price for each pint and sample pour of First State Circle Theory Hazy IPA. And they will continue to do that through July 8, so be sure to visit the Tap House and enjoy some Hazy IPA before time runs out!

We’re much obliged to Trolley Tap House for hosting and helping organize the event, First State Brewing Company for supplying the Circle Theory Hazy IPA, donating a basket and helping to sell Bid Bowl tickets, and The Arc staff that volunteered their time and resources to make the event a success!

And a big thanks to everyone who came out to have a drink, some fun and support The Arc of Delaware!
