The Arc of Delaware continued to celebrate 70 years of grassroots advocacy in 2023 with our 31st Annual Golf Tournament and Silent Auction!

More than 115 golfers showed up on August 7, 2023 for a beautiful afternoon on the links at Hartefeld National in Avondale, PA.

After registering and finishing their lunch, the golfers had a some time to practice their putts and drives before heading out to their shotgun starting holes.

A big thanks to all of our sponsors, including Audi West Chester and Kia Wilmington, which offered a new car for winning specific hole-in-one shots. (No one won this year.)

The afternoon was filled with challenging shots on a beautiful course, including an opportunity to hit from the long drive of PGA champion Evan Ogule. (Thanks to Charity Golf International.)

After 18 holes, the golfers headed back to the club house to enjoy pre-dinner drinks and browse the auction items.

The day culminated with a delicious dinner and prizes awarded for outstanding scores and performances.

Kudos to Doug Johnston and his Golf committee–Karen Crowley and Elaine Raign–along with all the staff and volunteers who made this event such a success! See you again in 2024!
